I really want to make the college volleyball team

Is it hard to make the volleyball team?

On Friday I watched a volleyball game with my friends.

It was so intense!!!

Now I wish I know how to spike a ball…..

Last year, I tried out for basketball and badminton but I didn’t get in….

Anyone is in a volleyball team?

As to VolleyBall, I really have few interest in it ,due to its vehemence of degree is very weakness, furthermore it is known to all that the Volleyball is short of the directly physical confront, caused the low of visual value as it is.As I have looked it sometime , my intention is just for the sake of many players are sweet girls. Sweet girls in sex appeal gives me a big attraction as such.:p

Most sunny youth in Mainland enjoy playing basketball and soccer, indeed ,they'are the best activity in day-to-day life of school. As regards me the soccer is my favourite. I have played it since 6 years old. Also my childhood is growing up together with it.Up to now , I still keep up playing it as long as I am free.Very lucky my deskmate is a core player of the school team.He often invites me to enter on the stage together with them the school team. That's really fantastic I think, as I could bestowed the chance to face the high level of rival.

I was in the volleyball team of my class in Taiwan. Actually, I'm not a good player at first, almost the dumbest one. But if you have some tennis experience, it will be pretty easy for you to adjust to volleyball. And since tennis is kind of similiar to badminton, I guess it's also easy for you to learn it. My couch used to tell me that tennis racket is the extension of my arm, and the difference between tennis and volleyball is that I don't have an extension now. It's not a big difference at all.

Good thing about volleyball is that you can pass the ball to your teammate, so it doesn't matter if you hit it to the wrong direction. (I'm not saying that controlling ball isn't important. :P) Just practice, practice and practice. You can make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw, my friend said it's really helpful to practice with a wall, it tests on consistency and other stuff ...... i rather play with a real person than with the wall, seriously, the wall is much tougher than the real game

haha you will be fine... Nah, seriously brace yourself for more than 100% of determination and effort because you do not have the physical advantage.

I am currently on soccer and cross country- college level, and those two sports really take my free time away from other stuff such as assignments or really no time to hang out with friends. Again, be sure to brace yourself, if you only have the interest but not the will... You might as well just join a intramural team. Good luck

I'm in the volleyball team in HGSH.

It's quite hard at first, but if you get used to it it's actually quite fun.

I don't know about teams in other schools,

but if you want to make a college team and you weren't in one before,

it would probably be very hard...

Me and a few classmates just made up the department's men's volleyball team,

since there originally was'nt one in the department of foreign language and literature.

Actually, I am going to be in our first game of the freshman's volleyball championship this noon xd

But since our girl's volleyball team is already well developed and often plays dominating positions (of what I've heard) in many competitions. My classmates I see joining the team does not actually bear the skill to play good volleyball at first, but through constant practice they do seem to be gradually improving over time.

So as my opinion, it would'nt be very hard to enter a volleyball team.

It just requires times of solid practice and enthusiasm, and after adjusting to the game and mechanics or tactics of the team, it is really far from impossible to keep up.

As a note, spiking is'nt that difficult

get familiar with the steps at the right time and you'll go fine.

It's the effectiveness and trying to increase the force afterwards that brings on the real headache.

Myself being an experienced player in high school, I'm looking up to the seniors that constantly show up at the volleyball grounds of my college, not to mention pwning us freshmen all the time...

So, good luck : )

It's nice seeing a volleyball enthusiasist every now and then.

I've seen your girls' school team play~ (one of my teachers recommended me to watch them play and learn from them)

I feel like I sorta suck when I watch...

You've got a great point--getting familiar with the steps.

The main players in our team mostly had problems with that =).

Oh, and I wanna add one more point.

You gotta know the right time to jump in or else you'll end up hitting thin air or even crashing into the net...

(a major problem with every new player XD)
