為什麼berkeley不好呀?

我從親戚朋友間聽到的都是好評耶

我還看了介紹berkeley的影片

校園好漂亮

我很喜歡說

喔你唸EECS啊..

那Berkeley很好啊XD

只是你要有心理準備來小柏之後唸書24/7但是成績卻還是不是很好喔哈哈

我沒記錯的話EECS跟我唸的數學 avg GPA是3.1左右吧

反之私立學校的人GPA就很好拿

Berkeley拼死拼活畢業之後薪水也不會比私立學校高

LOL! Is that Berkley in general or engineering in general? Sounds about right for an engineering degree. ^.^|||

I have just a question to ting771210. Do you intend to SPECIALISE in any areas in terms of EE? For example, my brother majored in telecommunications (combined with Biomed - weird combo I think) and another friend of mine majored in networking. Do you have any specialisation in mind? Or will you decide after you've done a few course work?

哈哈當然是整個學校in general 囉! (當然也有很多humanity majors也是很好混的XD)

Berkeley應該是學生痛苦指數最高的大學之一吧:P

擁擠的都市環境加上恐怖的競爭..xd

除了加州以外的學校

學費都跟私校一樣...那乾脆去讀私立的

說真的

我不喜歡Berkeley的感覺欸~_~

我很喜歡UCLA,但缺點是離家太近了

我想到東岸啦!!!!!!!!!

才來美國一年多一點應該也會跟土生土長的美國人有所區別吧~_~

同學 你填app的時候

該不會填的是international student吧

我很確定拿綠卡的不能算international student

這...蠻嚴重的說

公立大學錄取難度:

out state student > in state student > international student

international的門檻確實比較低

東岸有什麼好的 我想到西岸說 XD

hmmm... i haven't thought about it. but i am certain that i won't take dual units. that's too much work. i don't want to torture myself.

我都直接按freshmen appliants

common app 沒有international的樣子

UC也都是同一個form所以沒有這個問題

反正填academic history的時候

我有兩年在海外,兩年在美國

他們看到就應該知道了吧~_~

而且阿

我忘記是哪間學校了...他們有海外的高中名字在名單上,可是只有美國學校的,我只好另外加校名=_=

整個很麻煩...

東岸大好XD

像NYU,BC,BU,Carnegie Mellon,Cornell

都是很棒的學校欸!!!

(Ivy就更不用說了)

反觀西岸

也是有很多很棒的學校阿

只是我真的覺得亞裔太多了=_=

隨便走在路上都聽的到韓文/中文...etc.

我記得去年在波士頓的時候

除了電話中跟我爸媽講中文外,全部都講英文

程度突飛猛進欸!!! (然後到加州後就退了=_= -->在家跟在學校都講中文,24/7)

不過

我還是要大力推銷西岸天氣

真的比東岸好太多了!!!

唉 能去國外的真好ˊˋ

看你們談論成這樣 真是羨慕

好希望也可以有這個機會喔...

International students 的SAT的標準和本地學生一樣嗎?還是更高?

我聽過一種說法,International students申請又更難一些,因為他們會考慮到畢業之後你在美國的影響力有多少...International Students 有可能會回自己的國家去,所以...

還有我看Princeton的College Guide 說Columbia(應該就是THE Columbia了吧XD ) 申請進去的25%~75%的分數是1350~1750耶!!那原PO的大大應該是很高了吧?可以進Ivies了吧?
