Most of the men belonged to an association which was set up to fight HIV and Aids. Homosexual acts are illegal in Senegal, a predominantly Muslim country, where gay people remain marginalized. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The thoughts.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Senegal is a country in Africa.According to this article, the gay people are deprived of rights. Even put them into the jail! The action of the court of Senegal that is mentioned in the article is a large improvement in human right. And there is an important thing: most of the men just belonged to an association which was set up to fight HIV and Aids. The news reminds me of that in the past,Taiwanese people are easily caught into the jail only because they belonged to some associations. (白色恐怖時期) It is the same as the fact in the article. It is not only an issue about LGBT people, but also one about human right that we should care about.
